It has been years since we have been in contact with you. We think of Robbie often---my daughter Ashley--still to this day wears Robbie's t-shirt to the races--from the # 44 sprint car, to the # 47, to his memoiral shirt---
She is now 20 and can some how still fit into a child Large t-shirt---Ashley still has her photo with Robbie hanging on her bedroom wall that tells her to live her dream. My sister made Robbie the # 44-latchhook rug from many years ago. My sister, Tonya France went to a race the other evening in Lawenceburg, Indiana--the 2007 Robbie Stanley Memorial and she stated that there are new t-shirts--to carry on Robbie's name---
We are interested in purchasing new shirts
We still go to the races and every Memorial Day--we think of Robbie's passing---everytime we hear the Dance---Robbie's memory floods us---time has only made us appreicate the love he had for the greatest sport around--sprint car racing!!!
Thank you!!!!! And God Speed!!!!

I am happy to see a tribute page for my friend Robbie.
Since you had a email link I'd like to say that to this day I think of Robbie. Although I do not know them personally I also think of his parents and younger brother. I hope you and all those close to Robbie have peace in his tragic passing.
I graduated from BHS the same year. We hung out most of the evening at our 5 year reunion over in Pittsboro. I moved away from the midwest shortly after college but I will never forget Robbie. A great guy.
All of you will continue to be in my thoughts and I know he is proud of this award program and your temendous strength.
Best of luck in your racing endeavors!

Looking at your web site brings back many memories for me. I raced against Robbie only one time - the Light "B" Modified Main at the 1980 QMA Nationals in Michigan. (I have a video of all of the mains from that year...not the greatest quality). Although I won the race, I remember being angry that I did not qualify for the Light "A" Modified main. I watched Robbie win the race and thought it was really amazing that Robbie won the race in a car built by his dad.

Hi Ron, Rita, and Ryan. Happy New Year. I think of Robbie quiet often. Remember the garage by the tracks on 267. I just wished I could have put together a sponsorship at the time. Remember we were talking about changing the Number 44 to C-21. I was working for C-21 at the time. I don't think Robbie was to keen on the idea. If you might remember I had a video camera, new at the time, and I was always getting video of Robbie. Still have somewhere. Specially at Lawerenceburg when Jeff Gordon was running a #13 car. Ryan my memories of you always in the background working on the car, pushing, fueling, tires, cleaning etc. Ron, I remember you with the Fire dept. in Brownsburg. Rita, I remember when you went to Bethesda and Robbie going to my wife, Sharon's 2nd grade sunday school class. But most of all, of seeing Robbie race at the tracks. YES, MEMORIES ARE GOOD. Date: Saturday January 15, 2005 Time: 04:27 AM -0800 Comments: I was 8 yrs old when I first met Robbie. I met him at the quater midget grands in 92. I was 8 yrs old. He was a huge inspiration to me. He was my role model. I always wathed him on tv.
Date: Tuesday January 11, 2005 Time: 11:52 PM -0800 Comments: I have always been a big fan of racing but in particular I have always been a *huge* fan of Open Wheel (Midget & Sprint Car) racing. Unlike most people who only have one favorite driver, I always had two favorite drivers. I watched my two favorite drivers race each and every time ESPN would air a Midget and/or Sprint Car race, live or pre-recorded. One of my favorites was a fairly unknown "young upstart" who was originally from my home state of California. He was still in high school and he was winning races all over the country. His name was Jeff Gordon. My other favorite driver was a seasoned "old" veteran named Rich Vogler. His reputation speaks for itself. As a race fan that never missed a race on TV, I was watching Thursday Night Thunder on ESPN when Rich Vogler lost his life in the Red & White #69 car. To say the least, I was *shocked* to see my hero die before my eyes, quite literally. Eventually another "young upstart", very reminiscent of Jeff Gordon came along to replace Mr me for me. Point taken. When Robbie left us his youth only drove the point home further. Now I have a Grandson who is racing in Quarter Midgets and it wasn't until just recently that I found out Stanley was making quarter midgets! Every race team wants to give their driver the best equipment available and every racing parent wants to give their child the best equipment available. The Stanley QM chassis has a reputation for being one of the best Quarter Midgets available so now I once again find myself facing "the Stanley connection" (we have come full circle)! Some day, Robbie. . . some day! God Speed Robbie Stanley. Phill Pollard Pollard & Son's Racing www.typollard.com Prunedale, CA
